With members coming from a n eclectic background including music, theatre and dance, Silkweed have enjoyed composing specific pieces for dancers.

After the success of working with Caroline and Ellen on the "Moon Muses" project, Silkweed was approached to perform "Swathed in Silk" as the inspiration for a piece in the flameno dance festival in Bellingen in 2004.
