Silkweed's latest production "Jane Franklin-an examined life" is based on the fascinating life of Jane Franklin....a woman ahead of her time; she was an explorer and adventurer, a prolific diarist and wife of Sir John Franklin, Arctic explorer and one-time Governor of Tasmania.

After the success of working with Caroline and Ellen on the "Moon Muses" project, Silkweed was approached to perform "Swathed in Silk" as the inspiration for a piece in the flameno dance festival in Bellingen in 2004.
